HON. SHABA IBRAHIM EMPOWERS CONSTITUENTS WITH ITEMS WORTH SEVERAL MILLIONS OF NAIRA IN KOGI/LOKOJA CONSTITUENCY

"I am in office to serve and my doors are wide open to all comers".... Shaba Ibrahim

It was a day of jubilation and smiles on Saturday, 21st November for the people  of Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency, as their representative in the Lower Chambers of the National Assembly, Honourable Shaba Ibrahim showered them with various empowerment tools over the weekend.

The empowerment started with sensitization talk by National Agency for Prohibition of Trafficking In Persons (NAPTIP). The sensitization was sponsored by Hon. Shaba Ibrahim.

Following after, was training of women and youths in soap making.

Upon conclusion of the event, there was certificate presentation and cash transfer to the participants.

According to the House of Reps Member, the cash transfer is to assist the participants to be able to establish and stand on their own.

The empowerment programme which took place in Idrinana hotel in Lokoja, had in attendance, over 500 participants from both Lokoja and Kogi LGAs.

The Reps member had made it clear right from the first day of assuming office, that he is in office to serve and that his doors are wide open to all comers.

Doubtless, all can attest to the fact that he has been living up to that principle as he ceaselessly keeps bringing home to the constituency; dividends of democracy and quality representation.
