Mosogar Agog As Gov Okowa-Led Powerful Delegation, Bade Farewell To Pa Smart Onogba …… EAC Oghenesivbe

Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa has led a powerful delegation of the state executive council, party leaders and top government functionaries to the funeral rites of Chief Oghenekevwe Smart Onogba, father of the Honourable Commissioner for Environment, Hon Chris Onogba, in Mosogar town, Ethiope West Local Government Area on Saturday

Late Pa Smart Onogba gave up the ghost at the age of 82 years. He was a devoted christian, a businessman and community leader. He hails from Akadoro community in Mosogar Kingdom, Ethiope West LGA of the state.

 

The burial ceremony attracted people from all walks of life. The atmosphere was more of a political carnival as the ODIDIMADI of the Universe and Otota of Mosogar Kingdom, Chief Ighoyota Amori and Hon Chris Onogba played host to the crème-de-la-creme of society including the Deputy Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Distinguished Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, representing the good people of Delta Central Senatorial District, at the Red Chambers of the National Assembly.

 

 

Deputy Governor of Delta State, Barrister Deacon Kingsley Otuaro also attended the ceremony and was seen visibly in high spirit fraternizing with dignitaries, political leaders, chieftains and  top government officials.

The chief mourner and Delta State Commissioner for Environment, Hon Pastor Chris Onogba could not bear the pains of his father's exit and momentarily broke down in tears to appreciate his father's inestimable love, mentorship and friendship while he was alive. 

Pa Smart Onogba was greatly loved by all and sundry for his visionary leadership and invaluable contributions to community development.

HC Onogba is well known for his power of oratory, intelligence, uncommon humility and unalloyed loyalty to His Excellency the Platinum Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, our great party, PDP and to his political father, the great ODIDIMADI himself, Chief Ighoyota Amori, who many described as the Light of Mosogar Kingdom.

It follows that the Onogbas and the good people of Mosogar Kingdom practically witnessed and felt the outpouring of love and appreciation due to them as a result of Chief Amori and HC Onogba's system credibility, credible leadership, goodwill and comradeship exhibited by the governor, the government, PDP family and the good people of Delta State. 

It was indeed a unique ceremony that will not be forgotten so soon by people of Akadoro community and Mosogar Kingdom in general. To God be the glory!
