"STOP THE KILLINGS OF INNOCENT NIGERIANS".... Timi Frank Tells Buhari
Comrade Timi Frank, erstwhile Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressive Congress, APC has raised concerns over the seemingly silence of the Nigerian President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (Retd.) as it relates to the daily increasing reports of deaths of nigerians, by armed gunmen but of a more worrisome case, soldiers of the Nigerian Army.
Frank, in a tweet via his verified Twitter handle, @RealTimiFrank on Wednesday, expressed his worries over the recurring deaths especially as the President is seen to reward perceived killers of the same people he swore on oath to protect and defend.
The political activist, in his tweet, has asked why President Buhari loves rewarding killers?
"That is why the country of blood. Soldiers who killed peaceful protesters are not been tried. Meanwhile, those fighting for a better Nigeria are the ones facing trials. These are ways of intimidating Nigerians. What a shameless government", he tweeted.
Following the #LekkiTollGateMassacre that has continued to generate condemnation across the international communities, opinion leaders and stakeholders alike have also slammed the General Muhammadu Buhari led administration over its decision to freeze the accounts of some notable youths perceived as sponsors of the #EndSARS Protesters.
The Bayelsa born political activist also shamed the General Muhammadu Buhari adminstration for going after the youths who he described as heros whose major concerns are for a better country where rule of law, quality governance and respect for human life tops their quest.
He warned that the Federal Government must understand that the clamp down, intimidation and use of force, either through the military or the judiciary would not augur well for the country or its citizenry.
Frank, known for his vibrant and critical stance particularly as it bothers on good governance, has remained consistent while calling out the APC led administration.
