TRIBUTE: JJ RAWLINGS, A GREAT LEADER AND TRUE NATIONALIST... By Comrade Timi Frank

The news of the demise of one of Africa's great and finest leaders, Flight Lieutenant Jerry John Rawlings, former President of Ghana, has continued to reverberate across the globe with many paying their tribute to a man who gave his all to the rebirth of his country and people.

Foremost political activist and former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Comrade Timi Frank has expressed sadness  over the death of the great Ghanaian leader, describing the news of the passing of JJ Rawlings as a huge shock.

Frank, in a tweet via his verified Twitter handle, @TheRealTimiFrank, stated that; "It is with shock I received the death of Jerry Rawlings. He was a light for the struggle of Africa's democracy. I pray God accept his soul, as I sympathise with his Family and the amazing people of Ghana. He will remain in our hearts for the impacts he created for a greater Africa". 

It is recalled that the great nationalist had only recently, buried his mother in a State Burial which witnessed many great personalities who showed support to a man widely respected for his exceptional leadership qualities during his stint as President of  Ghana and a highly respected figure in the political turf in the global space.

Timi Frank prayed for Almighty God to grant his departed soul rest and also, comfort the family he left behind and the good people of Ghana.
