As the rerun for the plateau south senatorial district elections thickens, political pundits have endorsed former speaker of the state assembly and people’s choice, George Edwards Daika, a man of proven integrity as the right candidate for the position.

Throwing his weight behind the candidacy of the former acting governor, top chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Sunny Onuesoke disclosed that Plateau South District has a capable and effective candidate in the choice of Right Honourable Edwards as its candidate, in the forthcoming re-run elections.

“Daika is the best choice for the Plateau South senatorial district, considering his stint in the state assembly and as acting governor of the state, where he showed exemplary leadership qualities”, Onuesoke stated.

Onuesoke, while speaking with journalists on his arrival at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja enroute to Jos, the Plateau state capital, disclosed that Daika has what it takes to provide even representation to his people and definitely, deserves the support of the people.

“For capacity and peace building, this is the man with the right mien to reposition the plateau south senatorial district especially with the various issues that have bedeviled the zone in the last few years”.

“Plateau South people must not make the mistake if they truly yearn for a leader that will serve their collective interest particularly now when the representatives seem bugged down with various challenges that are begging for attention”.
