The National Director of Programmes, ComeBack Mandate of the People's Democratic Party, PDP, Honourable Zachariah S. Diwong has commended the Kaduna state chapter of the PDP for the peaceful conduct of its Primaries to elect Chairmen and Councillors at the local government levels across the state.

Honourable Zachariah Diwong made this known in a statement issued on Friday, commended the Hon. Hassan Hyat leadership of the party for a job well done, saying with such conduct, the party is indeed poised to reclaim its mandate across the entire 23 Local Government Councils in Kaduna.

According to Diwong, "it's no longer news that under the leadership of Hon. Hassan Hyat, Kaduna State PDP has successfully conducted a peaceful Primary election towards the forth coming local government Chairmanship position in the State".

"Yesterday, our flag bearers emerged from all the local government areas in the state".

"I, on behalf of the entire members of PDP COMEBACK MANDATE hereby congratulate all our flagbearers", he said.

"I also want to congratulate those that contested with our flag bearers, they are good fighters that can not be forgotten".

"I want to plead with all members of the PDP to stand up in support of our flagbearers, to see that we mobilize our Party faithfuls to come out enmass to elect our party at the forthcoming local government election coming soon", Hon. Diwong stated.

He further appealed to all stakeholders of the party to view the forthcoming Local Government Councils polls as a serious contest that will help reposition the party ahead of the next general elections in 2023".

He said; "I urge us to take this election very serious as it is the determining scale towards our 2023 Governorship election".

"Let us mobilize our people to come out and vote for our party to assume its rightful place in the political space in Kaduna state and beyond".

"I also congratulate our State Party Chairman and his Executives, our Local Government party chairmen and their Excecutives including our flagbearers in all the 23 Local Government Areas of the state.
