The Delta State Chairman of the Committee for the Defence of Human Rights,CDHR, Comrade (Elder) A. Peter Edariese has reacted to the Oviri-Olomu Community embattled Executive wherein they absolved themselves of any involvement in the alleged vandalization of an oil pipeline in the Community.

The Treasurer, Engr. Peter Teme Arumala of Oviri-Olomu Community had on Sunday denied knowledge or any involvement in the vandalization of the pipeline. 

However, in a statement sent to Our Correspondent, Comrade Edariese said,"Can a mere claim that we are not involved in the vandalization of the pipe line in Oviri-Olomu community by one of the culprits exonerate any of the criminals named in the crime by me from being a part of same?

Comrade Edariese noted that he has enough facts as to how the accused persons committed the offences.

According to him,"I and the majority of the good people of Oviri-Olomu community have all the facts of how these criminals perpetrated the evil and so, no going back on the matter as we have iron cast evidence against them". 

"I challenge the persons named in the crime to come to Oviri-Olomu community to stand in an identification parade with me and other indigenes of Oviri-Olomu community in an open investigation process whether they can face it without being hounded into prison from the findings that would emerge".
