Agboju Old Students' Association Appreciates Alma Mater..... Organizes Free Medical Checkup and Other Activities

Old Students Association of Agboju Secondary School, Agboju, Lagos have scheduled a lineup of activities for the benefits of the school community as part of pay back and sign of gratitude for the firm foundation they received. 

As part of the lineup events, Friday August 20, 2021, there will be Solidarity match where the  Old Students will trade tackles with the present students of the school, scheduled for 10am to 12 noon . 

Medical check up for members and also Health talk from Medical personel's within the Association to be conducted as part of the celebration of the 30 years anniversary of the 91/92 set of the school.

In the same vein, the set is to  Present and unveil  completed project to the school  which will involve Video presentation.

The colourful event will also involve the  election of Officers to  lead the association in the next dispensation.

In addition, the  association Financial report will be presented by the( CWC and Anniversary Committee) on the same day.

Memorial service for their loved ones  is to take place on the same day,  while the concluding event of the first Day will be Light refreshment and Dance.

ASSA has assured her members that there will be a lot of fun, as they providing the music, blues, and somethings to keep the mouth and teeth busy as well as assorted to wash down with.

The second Day of the event which is Saturday, August 21, 2021 is the Welcoming of Members and Invited Guest to ASSA 30 YEARS ANNIVERSARY  beginning from  8am.

According to the association Red Carpet starts from 11am-1:00pm  and all  Guest are expected  to be Seated by 1:00pm.

The main event will start with an Opening Prayer, 1:00pm to 1:10pm with the Introduction of Executive Members ASSA '91/92 Set, 1:10pm to 1:15pm, while Introduction of TEAM 30 ANNIVERSARY COMMITTEE will be  between 1.15pm to 1.20pm. 

The Opening Speech by the Chairperson TEAM 30 YEARS COMMITTEE,  will commence by 1:20pm to 1:30pm.

Brief history of the  formation of ASSA 91/92 Set will take place from 1:30pm to 1:40pm,  while the CWC report will be rendered from 1:40pm to 2: 00pm.

The climax of the event will have  in place a  Lecture, titled "Reinventing and Rediscovery of Self"   by an  invited guest speaker from 2:00pm to 2:20pm. 

Other activities line off for the day include Relaxation from 2:20pm to 3:30pm where comedy,  Tongue Twisting  and Sign Language and dancing competition, Passing Round the Basket, 50/50 (Raffle) with Tony, Gift Card - Team and Swearing in of the new exco  is fixed for 3:30 to 3:40.

Award Presentations to be carried out by Members and Teachers from3:40 to 4:00, with the Cutting of Anniversary Cake .
