.... Urges all affected officers and MDAs to comply fully with the guidelines and deadlines for the exercise.

The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has commenced online accreditation for officers on Salary Grade Levels 14, 15 and 16 ahead of the 2026 promotion exercise.

In a statement issued on Thursday by Ibraheem Zakariyya, Head Press and Public Relations, the Commission directed all affected officers to complete the accreditation process through its designated promotion portal between Friday, August 14 and Friday, August 28, 2026.

According to the FCSC, login details required to access the portal will be sent to candidates through their registered email addresses, urging them to complete the process within the stipulated period.

The Commission warned that the accreditation portal would close on August 28 and that there would be no extension of the deadline.

It added that officers who fail to complete the accreditation within the prescribed period would have to re-present themselves for the promotion exercise in 2027.

The FCSC consequently advised eligible officers not to wait until the closing date before completing their accreditation.

It also directed Permanent Secretaries, Accounting Officers and Chief Executive Officers of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to ensure that all affected personnel are informed of the directive, including officers serving outside their headquarters and those on foreign postings.

The Commission said the official correspondence conveying the directive was signed by its Chairman, stressing its commitment to ensuring a transparent, orderly and timely conduct of the promotion exercise.

The FCSC urged all affected officers and MDAs to comply fully with the guidelines and deadlines for the exercise.
