INTERNET FRAUD: MOTHER LANDS IN EFCC NET WITH SON, TWO OTHERS....To Be Arraigned In Court Soon.

Four persons have been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Kaduna Zonal Command, EFCC for internet related fraud.
The four arrested persons are; Lucky Ebhogie, Richman Godwin, Israel Justin and Precious Iwuji.
According to a statement by the EFCC Spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, the four persons were arrested on August 5, 2021 in the Sabo area of Kaduna, following intelligence on their alleged involvement in internet fraud
Uwujaren further disclosed that, preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects are mostly involved in impersonation and romance scam; faking the identities of United States military personnel on foreign missions to deceive their victims.
He made this known on Wednesday in his statement, titled, "EFCC arrests son, mother, others for Internet fraud in Kaduna".
The Agency's spokesman further revealed that Ebhogie allegedly recruited his mother into the scam by using her account to launder suspected proceeds of crime.
The statement read, "On July, 30, 2021, he purchased a Mercedes Benz GLK car for N7 million through the mother’s bank account".
"Another suspect, Iwuji was discovered to have sold her photographs and Facebook account to internet fraudsters, which they used to ensnare their victims".
"The suspects will soon be charged to court", the statement conluded.
