Following the shocking demise of a prominent member of the Delta State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Barr. (Mrs) Mary Iyasere, a former member of the Federal House of Representatives, Honourable Sunny Akpodiogaga Emeyese has condoled with the family, the Delta State Government and the PDP family as a whole.

Barr. Emeyese, in a condolence message, expressed his deep shock over the death of the very articulate, vibrant and enterprising Mrs. Mary Iyasere; a committed and dedicated party member, whose contributions to the growth and stability of the PDP, cannot be quantified.

According to Chief Emeyese, "Barr. Mary Iyasere was a reliable mobilizer, friend and loyalist of the party whose death has created a vacuum that will be hard to replace".

"The shock of her passing is a huge blow to myself, other colleagues in the PDP and the state government in particular. We mourn her death but we pray that God Almighty, in His infinite mercies, will grant her soul rest and give the immediate family, the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss", he stated.
