The umbrella body of the North, the Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF has congratulated Mrs Aminu Mohammed following her reappointment to serve out a second term as Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations.

The ACF, in a statement issued and signed by Emmanuel Yawe, its National Publicity Secretary disclosed that as a body, the Forum was happy with the reappointment of one of its own.

In the statement, he said; "We are very happy that the United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guteres has found her worthy of holding such an office in a global organisation not only once but twice.

"Amina Mohammed thus has proved that she is a woman of substance and rewards not only to the the north, but to Nigeria, Africa and the world.

"We are proud of her records while she worked for us here in Nigeria and are even more proud of the records of competence and dedicated service she exported to the United Nations." Yawe concluded
