We conducted a verification exercise last week and what you are witnessing today, Saturday 26th March 2022 is a kick-off of the programme.
Speaking further, Dr Atiku revealed that successful participants received the necessary working tools and kits that will provide them some safety while working. He also noted that the programme is expected to last for the period of three to four months, annually.
“Through this programme, we are able to engage about five hundred youths but this will be implemented in batches. Indirectly, this will provide over two thousand jobs opportunities for people around Kaduna state. For your information, the tools and equipment that these participants are using are produced, here in Kaduna. The multiplier effect of this on the citizenry here in Kaduna state, through FERMA, will be huge.”
