The decision by Chief Oke Umuurhohwo, a business entrepreneur, socialite and philanthropist, in his quest to seek elective contest into the Delta State House of Assembly, to represent the good people of Ughelli North Constituency 2, has continued to receive endorsements across Ughelli North Local Government Council Area and Delta State generally.

Chief Oke Umuurhohwo, in a recent chat with journalists during his wide and deep consultations with elders and concerned Stakeholders in his Constituency, disclosed that his decision to represent his people at the Delta State House of Assembly was borne out of the strong commitment in "Walking The Talk" in the affairs of his Constituency.

Responding to questions, the likable entrepreneur revealed that, "following deep and elaborate consultations with leaders, delegates, key stakeholders, and the good people of our constituency, listening to their yearnings and aspirations for better representation, I moved a step further in this course by purchasing both the expression of interest and the nomination forms to contest for the seat of the Member of the House of Assembly to represent the good people of Ughelli North Constituency 2, under the umbrella of the Peoples Democratic Party.  

Aspirant With Stakeholders

According to the aspirant, "my aspiration is borne out of genuine intention to positively impact the lives of our Constituents in particular and Deltans in general as well as to be a good ambassador of our great party, the PDP. 

"I strongly believe that with the wealth of experience, knowledge, exposure, contact, and network I have acquired in life over the years, I will not fail our people if given the mandate."

Speaking further on his quest to seek the elective ticket, he stressed that the position of the Honourable member representing Ughelli North Constituents 2 in the Delta State House of Assembly requires a resourceful and vibrant personality with a passion to drive development.

"These are some of my qualities and I intend to deploy them for the betterment of my constituents. l can confidently state here that of all the aspirants, I am the best choice and most capable to represent the good people of Ughelli North Constituency ll." He said.

Chief Oke Umuurhohwo therefore solicited for the support and prayers of all and sundry to succeed as he further  appealed to delegates to massively vote for his candidacy.
