KADUNA GUBER 2023: NEGATIVE DIATRIBES AGAINST ASHIRU, INDICATION OF OPPONENTS UNEASE OF HIS CANDIDACY

With the political jostling by various aspirants for the ticket of who represents the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the 2023 Gubernatorial contest, negative diatribes, mudslinging and maligning of personalities by some contenders have continued to take media space in Kaduna State, best described as the Political Capital of Northern Nigeria.

However, in all of these struggles over who emerges victor and occupier of the Sir Kashim Ibrahim House, seat of government of Kaduna State, one man who has remained resolute, focused and committed to his aspiration and bluntly refused to participate in the shenanigan of his fellow aspirants is none other than, Rt. Honourable Isa Mohammed Ashiru Kudan, the top flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Described as a consummate politician  trailblazer, record breaker and a God fearing, honest and detribalized Nigerian, Hon. Kudan is unarguably, the most acceptable governorship aspirant across all the political parties in the state.

Making this strong statement is Edward John Auta, the Director Media Relations for the Hon. Isa Mohammed Ashiru Campaign Consultative Working Committee.

According to Edward Auta, "my principal is a reserved personality with strong national and international networks for attracting investments and developments to the state."

"Hon. Ashiru is the opposition party’s joker in Kaduna State with 16 years of legislative experience and visible records that continue to stand out distinctively.

"Ashiru is the candidate that garnered more votes for the PDP in Zone 1, across all positions contested by the opposition party in that zone in 2019, despite the intense hate propaganda and security compromise."

Auta, a respected political analyst and media personality, has stressed that, "across the 23 LGAs in the state, Hon. Ashiru Kudan polled 815,000 votes for the PDP as against APC's 1,045,000 (read fabricated figures) while in opposition; compared to the party’s dismal performance in 2015 where the then sitting governor polled 486,000 votes against APC's 1,117,000.

"He will do even more, if given another opportunity. His experiences in the last elections will be vital for the party's success come 2023. He's simply the most suitable for the party's governorship ticket."

Edward John Auta therefore implored stakeholders and the party's delegates to give their support and votes to the candidate with the right capacity and disposition towards retrieving political powers from the All Progressives Congress, APC and enthrone a PDP led Government in Sir Kashim Ibrahim House, come 2023.
