To start with, this is the church I will attend and also be a church worker if I live in Port harcourt, Rivers State.
I wept when I watched the video this morning. I wept, not because of what happened to the family but, how this man of God transformed the lives of this poor family. If our so called G.O's can emulate this, we don't need to preach to the people before they will give their lives to Christ.
This is what Christianity is all about; the love of God and your fellow human being, is the greatest virtue.
In an interview with Sat Guru Maraj, he said and I quote. "HOW WOULD YOU SAY THAT YOU SERVE GOD WHEN YOU DON'T LOVE YOUR FELLOW HUMAN BEING? YOU CAN NOT HAVE GOD WITHOUT HAVING LOVE BECAUSE, GOD HIMSELF IS LOVE."
God will continue to bless this man of God and the ministry of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Is the Church of Christ for profit making and not for salvation?
Please do not tell me that Christ commands us to make profit, the "parable of the talents," in matthew 25: 14 - 30. This parable only applies to our individual life (Christ in this parable is only challenging every individual to be productive) and not to the Church of Christ as a body.
Apostle Paul, in the bible and in his individual capacity was a tent maker. He was being productive and using the profit from this business venture to support himself and the Ministry of Christ Jesus. In the same vein, it is not a sin for a man of God to use his talent for business venture and make profit.
However, I strongly think it is not in order when some churches are using the tithes and offerings contributed by church members to build schools that the children of the church members cannot afford to attend.
Is this not morally wrong?
Yes, the writer of this piece is somehow troubled by the action of some clerics, to turn the body of Christ to a profit making venture. This is because, in the early seventies before the introduction of Universal Primary Education, UPE in 1976 by the military leader, General Olusegun Obasanjo, I went to a missionary school without paying a dime.
Most of the missionary schools in Lagos state were established by Catholic, Anglican, Methodist, Apostolic, African church, Baptist, Evangelical, Ansar-Ud-Deen and Ahmadiyya.
Suffice to say it that, in principle, every child, without any exception whatsoever, shall have rights to attend any of these missionary schools; Ifamuyiwa, Ogunyinka, Sangodeyi, Abdul Rahman, Abdul Razak and Abdul Fatai can attend St. Paul Catholic Primary School or St. Jude Anglican Primary School without distinction or discrimination on account of race, sex, language, religion, color, creed, political or other opinions and national or social origin.
In fact, you do not have to be a member of their faith or a member of their congregations before you can be enrolled as a pupil.
Again, you do not pay a dime.
Where is the charity now?
The mission and commission of Christ Jesus is salvation from the Greek word, Soteria. It is a compound word that encompasses all; love or charity.
