The apex Igbo Socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has congratulated the governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, over his emergence as the Vice Presidential candidate to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The highly formidable group, in a goodwill message to the Vice President in-waiting, and signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Dr Alex Ogbonnia, expressed unalloyed support for the emergency of Okowa, saying that his Vice Presidential candidacy will add enormous electoral value to PDP's electioneering capacity and her desire to oust the All Progressives Congress, APC, from power at the centre in 2023.
Ohanaeze Ndigbo, described governor Okowa as a sagacious politician, an Igbo prodigy, detribalised Nigerian, a patriotic democrat, purveyor of morals and prudent manager of resources.
