Ahead of the 2023 general elections, wide consultations have continued to hold across the three senatorial zones of Kaduna state between the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Governorship candidate, Honourable Isa Mohammed Ashiru and prominent key stakeholders of the party.

Hon. Ashiru, in his continued reach out to key players and leaders of the party in the state, has held an extraordinary meeting with the present and all past State Chairmen of the PDP in Kaduna State.

"The meeting," according to Edward John Auta, Director, Media Relations for the Hon. Isa Ashiru Campaign Consultative Working Committee, "deliberated on issues relating to the 2023 governorship and other elections in the state. 

During the meeting, "the eminent personalities pledged their unalloyed commitment to the party as well as the deployment of their experiences to push the party to victory."

Earlier on, Hon. Isa Mohammed Ashiru visited the current candidate of the PDP for the Kaduna South Senatorial District and his erstwhile running mate in the 2019 governorship election, Hon. Barr. Sunday Marshall Katung to discuss areas of collaboration that will ultimately lead the PDP to victory at all levels, especially the southern Kaduna Senatorial zone. 

Auta, reiterated the commitment of Honourable Ashiru to continue with consultation and his readiness to work with party leaders and groups to deal the APC a devastating blow come 2023.
