News: Crisis Brewing In Delta Community. .... Call the military to order so as not to instigate crisis between the two communities, Aladja community tells FG

"The military should not use this avenue to kill their people as they did in October 2020." Aladja youths warn.

Information reaching this platform reveals that a serious crisis is currently brewing in Aladja Community in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State as soldiers, led by one Major Solomon Nwakwada have allegedly breached the peace accord between Aladja and Ogbe-Ijoh Communities in Warri South-West Local Government Area by escorting trailer loads of granite to the disputed land (boundary) between the two communities for development for Ogbe-Ijoh to use.

Aladja Community youths have frowned at the development, especially as the curfew put in place at the wake of the attack on Aladja Community by the Ogbe-Ijoh people in November 21, 2020, still bites harder on the people of Aladja Community.

The people of Aladja Community have  therefore, urged the federal and State Governments to, as a matter of urgency, call the military to order so as not to instigate crisis between the two communities as well as hasten up with the demarcation of the borders of the communities.

A youth simply identified as Akpevwe in Aladja Community said the military should not use this avenue to kill their people as they did in October 2020."

Aladja people kicked against the perpetual curfew which was imposed in their land over nine months ago.

Another youth, simply identified as Ubeku in Aladja Community said; "how can curdew be in place since November last year? The military is giving excuse that it is because of the crisis. Now, they are the ones instigating the crisis so that they keep the people in bondage. Even in the North East where killings take place on daily basis, there is nowhere curfew is imposed for nine months. The military is benefitting from it. Enough is enough."
