ASHIRU VISITS KAGORO, COMMISERATES WITH VICTIMS OF SUNDAY ATTACK.

Honourable Isah Ashiru Kudan, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP  Governorship candidate has again visited Kagoro to commiserate with the people following the dastardly attack of Sunday, 19 December by yet to be identified armed men, which left scores dead.

Hon Ashiru, during his visit, condoled with the people of Kagoro and the victims of the attack which saw over 37 persons dead and many others injured.

He commiserated with the community including the traditional leaders and Chiefs of Kagoro and Atyap chiefdoms to seek their support.

The PDP Governorship candidate also used the opportunity to canvas and solicit for the support of the people for the forthcoming elections in 2023 even as he assured that the PDP is poised more than ever to provide quality governance, security card sustainable development for the people, if elected into office.

According to stakeholders in the state, the "PDP has made history by setting an unmatched pace for other political parties to follow in the political landscape of Southern Kaduna. 

One of the stakeholders who spoke with journalists during the visit by Hon. Ashiru to Kagoro, the PDP brought their Presidential standard bearer, Atiku Abubakar and his Vice Presidential Candidate, Senator Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa and all his campaign team down to our homeland in order to show love and bonding with our people.



It will be recalled that, H.E, Alhaji Atiku had earlier on paid a condolence visit to the Paramount Ruler of Kagoro, to  commiserate with the people of Kagoro Chiefdom over the unfortunate and dastardly attack on the community that left 37people dead, with loss to properties.


The PDP Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, while condoling the people, had condemned the attack in very strong terms, describing it as inhuman and unacceptable. 

He assured the people that his administration would proffer lasting solutions to such occurrences for the good of all.



He also gave assurances that, if elected into office in 2023, his government would ensure that Federal presence gets to the people of Southern Kaduna as he would run an all inclusive government, by the special grace of God.

He acknowledged that, the zone has always been a PDP stronghold since the return to democracy in 1999 while also, appreciating the massive block votes accorded the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in 2019 when he goes for the position of President.


Atiku further acknowledged that he is aware of their ordeals especially at the state level and promised to change the narratives for the better. 

He thereafter, proceeded to Kafanchan where he attended a Townhall meeting with various groups and community leaders.




At the Townhall meeting, the PDP Presidential candidate sat with stakeholders on a negotiating table to strike a balance and agreed with what the people stand to gain if he is voted as the president of Nigeria come 2023.
