The history of mankind is full of great characters who have changed the course of their people. One of them is HRH, Eze Ben Iheanyichukwu Adindu, Ofo Ire II of Itu Autonomous Community, Ezinihitte Mbaise.

His recognition and coronation as the Eze Ofo Ire II of Itu Autonomous Community, Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo state has been applauded by indigenes and stakeholders, describing it as well deserved.

His immense personal contributions and sacrifices to the well-being, growth and development of the people of Itu Autonomous Community, Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government Area, earned him several awards and recognitions within and outside his immediate community and state.

The coronation of this astute executive, philanthropist, educationist and God-fearing personality, Eze Ben Adindu did not come easy. However, what has been ordained in Heaven cannot be challenged, as the Imo state Government on August 2, 2022 put into gazette, the recognition of His Royal Highness, Eze Ben Iheanyichukwu as the Ofo Ire II of Itu Autonomous Community, Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government Area, with effect from May 7, 2019 in an official Imo state Gazette #2 of 2022.

Born in Umuezia village in Itu on August 31, 1957 to the family of Mr. Nathaniel Ekperechi Adindu and Mrs. Hannah Egowure Adindu, Ben Iheanyichukwu received parental education and wise counseling from his father, an extremely pious man who influenced him greatly with great ideas and positive attitude.

The educational development and growth of Eze Ben Adindu while in his early years, described as progressive and exceptional, helped to guide him through working career and life.

The entrepreneurial side of Eze Ben Adindu saw him establishing Nzuben Nigeria Limited, a company that etched his name in the minds of many, especially in the business community. His extensive entrepreneurial expertise, good marketing skills, prudence and unshakeable belief in God resulted into a success story.
