FUEL HIKE: DSS Invites Right Activist, Israel Joe Over Planned Protests By Faceless Individuals In Delta

 

"It is my decision to honour the invitation in line with my obligation as a  citizen in obedience to state institutions." Comrade Israel Joe.

The Department of State Security, DSS have invited human right activist, Comrade Israel Joe for questioning over a planned protest slated for Monday in Warri and its environs in Delta State.

He said the invitation is for tomorrow Sunday by 2pm.

Comrade Joe announced this is in his official social media handles.

He said; "This is to inform the general public that I have been invited for an interview with the Department of State Security (DSS) slated for tomorrow Sunday 2pm.

"It is my decision to honour the invitation in line with my obligation as a  citizen in obedience to state institutions."

According to Comrade Joe, "On the protest against Fuel Hike slated for Monday where some calls were bursted as planning to burn down fuel stations, it is laughable. 

"Those persons are just criminal elements that should have been arrested. Such plans obviously cannot come from me.

"In the course of the struggle, interrogations and detentions are normal and I have no single one fear about any of the above. 

"My account was frozen during the #EndSARS and I was invited, detained for hours until calls started trooping in before I was released. So, it is normal. Activists who wants to paint themselves white before government and security authorities remain the problems we have today. Too many sabotage amongst our rank. 

"Be aware that if fuel moves to 1k per litre today, I can conveniently afford it, however, all of you sell outs are only mortgaging the future of your children and grand-children. 

"I can be expelled or suspended from any organisation. It is not my business but one thing is certain, ... heroes are never recognised and respected until they are gone.

"Like I said, I harbour no fear. I will be with the DSS by 2pm Sunday 29th January, no need coming to arrest me. I will honour your invitation and if the people with me say I should move on Monday, then come to the street I will be waiting for your arrest there."
