DON'T DIVERT ATTENTION, ADDRESS ALLEGATION OVER DERIVATION FUND.... PANDEF Tells Okowa

Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa
PDP Vice Presidential Candidate

"Anyone who seeks a high office, like that of the office of the Vice President, must have a level of integrity." PANDEF

The Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF, has challenged the Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa to provide specific answers on the allegations levelled against him and his administration, instead of diverting attention of the concerned people.

It is recalled that PANDEF, through its Convener, Chief Edwin Kiagbodo Clark had challenged the Governor over his reneging on the arrangements entered into, with other governors of the South, on power shift in the 2023 presidential ticket and therefore, called for the resignation and stepping down of Dr. Okowa as the Vice Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for his lack of integrity.

PANDEF, in a statement at the weekend, stressed that anyone who seeks a high office, like that of the office of the Vice President, must have a level of integrity.

The governor, in his response, had urged the PANDEF leader, Chief Edwin Clark to be a unifier.

PANDEF has however, given Governor Okowa and his aides, 48 hours to retract and withdraw his attacks on Clark in his own interest.
