OIL THEFT: Don't Give Pipeline Surveillance Contract To Ex-militant Leaders Opposed To Tompolo, N'Delta Activist, Ezekiel Tells President Tinubu

A Niger Delta Activist, Comrade Daniel Ezekiel today joined critical stakeholders in the oil sector in a call on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led Federal Government, not to give the pipeline surveillance contract to ex-militant leaders opposed to Tompolo's TANTITA Security Services Nigeria Limited, TSSNL.

Comrade Ezekiel handed down the warning in a statement signed and made available to NaijNewsAlert.

He mentioned the names of some of the ex-militant leaders to include, Ateke Tom, Ben Ebikabowei, Asari Dokubo, Bibopere Ajube, and Ayiri Emami from Rivers and Bayelsa States respectively.

Comrade Ezekiel who criticized the ex-militant leaders, said the leaders lack "capacity" pointing out that they are greedy and self entered adding that they didn't contribute to the job success.

He stressed that, "they allegedly misappropriated funds intended for workers welfare for personal gain."

He said President Tinubu should not listen to the ex-militant leaders from the Niger Delta region who are opposed to the renewal of the pipeline surveillance contract for TANTITA.

Comrade Ezekiel said it is "unfortunate" and "ungrateful" for the ex-militant leaders to kick against the pipeline surveillance contract for TANTITA.

He expressed disappointments at the ex-militant leaders who joined forces with outsiders in maligning the image and person of Tompolo.

He called on President Tinubu to renew the pipeline surveillance contract for High Chief Oweizide Government Ekpemupolo Alias Tompolo, owner of TANTITA Security Services Nigeria Limited, TSSNL.

"Over the past year, Tompolo and his team have diligently tackled leakages in the oil sector, resulting in significant improvements in oil output."

He said President Tinubu should renew the pipeline surveillance contract for TANTITA Security Services Nigeria Limited giving its impressive record over the past years.
