KADUNA ELECTRIC BASH KADVS 2-0 TO WIN KCSS FOOTBALL COMPETITION

The first Inter Sectoral Football competition organized by the Kaduna Customer Service School and Kaduna State University-Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development, has ended in Kaduna, on Friday 13th of October, 2023 at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium.

The competition, which was sponsored by La plage Meta Verse saw KADVS emerging as champions with a 2-0 win over Kaduna Electric.

The Inter Sectoral Football competition is part of the 2023 Customer Service Week commemoration among other events, like Customer Service Summit and awards.

From the quarter final stage, Kaduna Electric walked over Artisans, Sport Consultant defeated KADGIS 2-1, Kaduna Dental/Hospitality thrashed Nigeria Correctional Services 4-1, while KADVS also walloped Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) 4-1.

In the semi finals, Kaduna Electric beat Sport Consult 1-0 to get to the finals while KADVS eliminated Kaduna Dental/Hospitality with a 2-1 win with Kaduna Dental/Hospitality emerging third by walking over Sport Consult.

KADVS, the first position team received N100,000 a trophy and medals while Kaduna Electric got N75,000 and medals  for coming second. The Kaduna Dental/Hospitality side were given a cheque of N50,000 and medals.

Speaking after the  event, the Lead Organizer and Visioner, Mr Ogungbuyi Emmanuel of KCSS affirmed that this event has come to stay and promised to keep getting better year by year.
