UNVEILING BASHIR USMAN, POTENTIAL NATIONAL TEAM MEMBER

Nigeria Tornadoes goal Talisman, Bashir Usman has disclosed that he had dreamt about his goal against Kano pillars, in the week 15 match of the Nigeria Premier Football League, a night before the match on Thursday 21st December 2023.

Speaking after his last minute goal gave Tornadoes the desired three points and moved them away from the drop zone, Bashir revealed that he was sick before the match and couldn't start but he had to beg to be allowed to play when he saw things were not going their way

"I was sick before the match and was kept on the bench. Some few minutes to the end of the game the scores was still goalless. I had to beg to play and, funny enough, I dreamt I scored in the match and I strongly believed my dream will come through. I went in and it became a reality." He said.

Bashir Usman, who has played for other clubs like Plateau United, Nasarawa United and also, plied his trade with two clubs in Egypt, said Niger tornadoes is begining to do well, promising that he will give the club his best do that the club will not go on relegation.

"We are beginning to do well and I am sure we will retain our status in the premier league." He said.

Bashir Usman who has six goals so far, said getting a national call up will not be a bad one for him.
