EKIUGBO GRAMS OLD STUDENTS ASSOCIATION VISIT ALMA MATA .... Assures Of Positive Support, Contributions Towards Developmental Growth Of EGSOSA

As part of its avowed commitment towards the continued support to the developmental growth and success of their Alma mata, members of Ekuigbo Grammar School Old Students Association, EGSOSA, recently paid a visit to the School.

Ekuigbo Grammar School, which is located in Ekuigbo, in Ughelli North Local Government Area, has membership of its Old Students Association spread across the country including in the Diaspora.

The EGSOSA members who were led by their National President, Comrade Akpobome Rufus Ibebe, revealed in a statement that the purpose of the visit to their Alma Mata was to officially welcome the new Principal, Chief Otu Eferebor Festus to office.

The visit by the delegation which took place on 6th February 2024, at the school premises, were received by the Principal, Chief Otu Eferebor Festus and members of staff in his office.

Speaking during the reception, the National President of EGSOSA, Comrade Akpobome Rufus Ibebe disclosed that the Association embarked on the working visit to enable them officially welcome Chief Otu, the new principal to the school.


Comrade Ibebe further stated that the visit would also enable the EGSOSA members get updates on recent progress reports recorded by the school, a brief of the challenges facing the school, which also includes assess the current infrastructural state of the school.

"This visit will afford EGSOSA members get a better insight as to how we will provide support, within our means, with the aim of contributing our little quota towards the growth and development of our Alma Mata." Ibebe stated.



The National President of EGSOSA also used the opportunity to commend the principal and staff for the great works that the school management team, under his leadership, has been doing in the school.


Chief Otu, in his response, thanked the visitors and also, updated them of the progress and challenges of the school. He expressed the gratitude of the school management for the support they have been providing and appealed that the school will appreciate their support in whatever ways they can assist.



Thereafter, the Principal took the visitors round the school for a proper on the spot assessment of the school infrastructures.

The EGSOSA delegation, led by the National President, Comrade Akpobome Rufus Ibebe, includes the National Vice President Mrs. Oghale Egbabor, National Secretary Elder Ugoma Kennedy Onoriode and the National Director of Programme, Comrade Igho Orobosa Egbabor.




Others are; National Provost, Mr. Meshach Esakparide, National Treasurer Mr. Anthony Irikesiebe, Miss Agbuke Abundance and Miss Favour Onosadjere.
