Nigeria's unwavering commitment to collaborate with global partners in tackling the pressing issue of insecurity in the country, has been reaffirmed by the Honourable Minister of Interior Affairs, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.
Dr. Tunji-Ojo, ably represented by the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Interior, Dr. Aishetu Gogo Ndayako when the Spanish Ambassador to Nigeria, H.E. Juan Sell paid him a courtesy visit in his office, expressed Nigeria's readiness to engage in strategic partnerships with countries possessing expertise in combating insecurity.
The discussion centered on fostering cooperation to address internal security challenges and uphold citizenship integrity.
The Minister, in a statement issued and signed by Ozoya Imohimi, the Director Press and Public Relations Department, reiterated the Ministry's mandate to ensure the safety and security of all Nigerians, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts with relevant stakeholders to devise sustainable solutions.

In recognition of Spain's milestone achievement of celebrating 200 years of their national police force, Dr. Ndayako extended congratulations to Ambassador Sell, and the people of Spain.
Commending the Minister's dedication towards maintaining internal security and safety in Nigeria since he assumed office, Ambassador Sell conveyed Spain's willingness to collaborate with Nigeria and forging necessary alliances with the Ministry to bolster security initiatives.
In alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Ministry of Interior remains firmly committed to restoring hope and ensuring the safety of citizens, and is poised to engage with international partners and security experts to achieve these objectives.
