Since the appointment of Senator Engr David Nweze Umahi, CON, former Governor of Ebonyi state as the substantive Minister, Federal Ministry of Works, by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2023, stakeholders in the construction sector have continued to applaud the decision as one of the wisest ever, by the President.

He has continued to transverse the geo-political zones inspecting ongoing projects and ensuring that the standard expected from contractors handling all projects do not compromise on quality, standard and costs.

Engineer David Nweze Umahi has vowed to make nigeria a global village through ensuring a historic quality road Infrastructure Network as lands in the Northwest region of the country in continuation of his inspection visits to ongoing project sites and on the spot assessment of the projects, to ensure that Nigeria and Nigerians get value for money expended.
