Troops of the 1 Mechanized Division of the Nigerian Army, Kaduna have succeeded in eliminating a notorious terrorists leader, Boderi Isyaku, who plotted and executed the 11th March 2021 abduction of 39 students of the Federal College of Forestry Mechanization, Afaka, Igabi LGA in Kaduna state.

Reports monitored from SaharaReporters, reveal that Boderi was eliminated during a gun duel with army troops around Bada/Riyawa general areas of Chikun and Igabi Local Government Areas of the state.

Further reports stated that, at his dying moment, Boderi revealed that his boys are going to launch an attack next month.

This has triggered calls for security operatives to be more vigilant even though the terrorist failed to mention where the potential attack will happen.

Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwa in a release confirmed this, adding that it was Boderi who masterminded the attack on the Afaka campus of the Nigerian Defence Academy, Igabi LGA where two officers were killed and another abducted.

"The notorious bandit, insurgent and ruthless killer, Boderi Isyaku, has been neutralized in a gun duel alongside some of his fighters, by troops of the Nigerian Army, around Bada/Riyawa general areas of Chikun and Igabi LGAs.

“This feat was confirmed to the Kaduna State Government by security forces carrying out internal security operations and diligent checks from human intelligence sources."
