Nigeria's entertainment industry is once again in mourning following the announcement of the death of Pa Jonathan Ihonde, Ace TV producer, renowned award-winning dramatist, world-acclaimed writer, veteran Labour Union leader and social mobiliser.

The late Jonathan Ihonde was a respected humanist and consistent patriot, and the creator of award winning television comedy programme, 'Hotel de Jordan', one of the precursors of Nigerian Home Video, Nollywood that kept many families that glued to their television sets back inn the 70's.

Pa Jonathan Ihonde took a bow as he passed away at the age of 86 years.

He died today at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, UBTH today 13th March, 2024.
