"For two years now, the people of Egbema community in Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State are on the edge and the community on the brink of extermination as a consequent of illegal activities of one Police Inspector Chukwukadibia Okebata also known as "Kill and Bury" ...... Egbema residents.

Residents of Egbema Community in the peaceful and serene Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State are currently on the streets protesting the reign of terror, brutality and outright disobedience to extant laws, rules of engagement by an officer of the Nigerian Police Force who has continuously disregarded his superiors, ostensibly because of the support he enjoys from his police and political godfathers in high places.

Reports from Egbema reveals that the entire community are to protests the dehumanizing and traumatic experiences they have been forced to contend with in the last couple of years despite having written letters of complaints to the Office of the Inspector General of Police.

According to reports from the protests grounds, the alleged nefarious activities of the officer, identified as Inspector Okebata Chukwukadibia (aka Kill And Bury) has reached the peak where parents can no longer afford to remain quiet but cry out to the President, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, to urgently come to their aid before their youths are wiped out.

The protesters, who came out in their hundreds, are asking the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all well meaning Nigerians especially the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun to immediately call to order, the said Inspector of Police who has consistently taken the laws into his hands by arbitrarily arresting and detain at will, residents of the community and extorting huge amounts of money from poor innocent families.

Speaking to reporters, the leaders in the community revealed that, "For two years now, the people of Egbema community in Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State are on the edge and the community on the brink of extermination as a consequent of illegal activities of one Police Inspector Chukwukadibia Okebata also known as "Kill and Bury" who had gone rogue on the natives of this rural, agricultural and oil producing our community has been under serious siege and our people living in perpetual fear of existential danger to lives due to the threats posed by one police inspector who calls himself Kill and Bury and who does everything to live up to that name."

"His activities in these communities range from, but not limited to unlawful arrests and detention of unsuspecting individuals to outright murder and execution, intimidation, extortion and in some cases torture, waterboarding and electric shocks of both old and young, males and females without recourse to the instrumentality of the law." They stated.

"Inspector Chukwukadibia Okebata alias Kill and Bury and his team converted the only Health Center in the community, which was built and fully equipped by the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to his detention centre, concentration camp and cells where he takes unsuspecting members of the public arrested by him to question, torture and make them swear to a shrine and sometimes summarily execute them there including his fellow police officers. The Health Center has been completely destroyed by this officer and his team and is now completely dilapidated and usable for medical services without substantial repairs and re-equiping."

The people further implored the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun to as a matter of urgency, order the Nigeria Police to vacate the premises of our only health center and discontinue forthwith the occupation and illegal activities therein and to renovate and restore it to its original status, re-equip and immediately hand over same back to the people of Egbema community as that is the only health center that caters for our medical needs." They cried out.
