FUEL HIKE: Continue To Say No To Protest, Right Activist, Israel Joe Tells Compromising Activists
Comrade Israel Joe |
"I hope they are proud of their decision to stand against the Nigerian people who wanted to peacefully express their opinion as fundamental and guaranteed rights." Comrade Israel Joe.
Following the hike in the price of petrol, a Niger Delta based Human Rights Activist, Comrade Israel Joe on Sunday asked human right activists who allegedly joined thugs who kicked against and attacked genuine protesters during the recent #EndBadGovernance protest in the country if they have separate filling stations with cheaper fuel?
In a chat with Our Correspondent in Warri, Comrade Joe said those (activists) who kicked against genuine protesters should "Continue To Say No Protest".
He said compromising their positions as activists for peanuts will never put them in good light before the public.
Comrade Joe noted that posterity owes everyone one of us in this dark days where Nigerians keep suffering bad policies of government.
"I hope they are proud of their decision to stand against the Nigerian people who wanted to peacefully express their opinion as fundamental and guaranteed rights," warning that some persons have been charged with treason and remanded in prison by Federal High Court Abuja.
