Maden Healthcare Foundation, in collaboration with its partners and volunteers across Nigeria, successfully commemorated Menstrual Health Month and World Menstrual Hygiene Day through a nationwide campaign aimed at promoting menstrual health, dignity, and access to menstrual hygiene products.

The initiative reached communities across 32 states and the Federal Capital Territory, providing menstrual health education and distributing over 10,000 sanitary pads to girls and women in schools and underserved communities.

The campaign sought to address period poverty, reduce menstrual stigma, improve school attendance among girls, and empower beneficiaries with accurate information on menstrual health management.

Speaking on the impact of the initiative, the Foundation reiterated its commitment to ensuring that no girl is disadvantaged because of her menstrual cycle and emphasized the importance of collective action in advancing menstrual health and gender equity.
