News: Makarfi Must Resign; Insists Sheriff

From available reports, all seems not to be over concerning the crisis that has engulfed the PDP and its factional chairman Sen. Ali Modu Sheriff, as he has yet to reach an agreement with the Chairman of the party’s National Caretaker Committee, Sen. Ahmed Makarfi, despite the rulings from two courts that approved his sack.

Modu Sheriff’s position came barely three days after the party, through its National Publicity secretary said it had zoned the office of the national chairman to the southern part of the country.
