SPORTS: NFF FAILS IN ITS BID TO HOOK LE GUEN AS TECHNICAL ADVISER

LE GUEN DISAPPOINTS NFF

Frenchman Paul Le Guen who was announced by the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF  as the new Super Eagles handlers and Nigerian Salisu Yusuf to serve as the Chief Coach, has stated that he never signed any deal with the Nigeria soccer house.
In a report monitored online and according to French newspaper L'Equipe, Le Guen rejected Nigeria even as the NFF was yet to meet with the terms and conditions requested by the coach to work as the new Super Eagles boss.
With the statement by Paul Le Guen that he has not reached an agreement with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to become the Technical Adviser of the Super Eagles will therefore, open the door for other coaches.
This is a blow to the NFF, although a statement released by the Football Association on Monday evening alluded to the fact the deal was not complete.
A statement from Glass House states that; "the appointments (of Yusuf Salisu and Le Guen) are subject to agreement of contract terms with the NFF Executive Committee.
