GROUP ALLEGES PLANS BY KACHIKWU, EMERHOR TO DESTABILIZE APC IN DELTA

A group under the aegis of Rescue Delta State Movement for Ogboru 2019 in conjunction with the youths and women of APC Delta State has condemned the report carried by a national daily newspaper, the Vanguard.


In a statement signed personally by its National President, Prince Christopher Akpojotor Agaga in Warri, Delta state, it described as "shameful, statements made by a man appointed by a President of high integrity to represent the people of Delta State in the federal cabinet".

"Unfortunately,we regret to announce to the general public that the Minister's recent acts has confirmed the stories going round for sometime now, that he had been holding secret meetings with the Delta State Governor on how to destabilize the APC in Delta State so as to give PDP a soft landing as the governor of Delta State come 2019", the group alleged.

The National President of "DSRM for Ogboru" further accused the Minister going on "to involve Olorogun O'Tega Omerhor, a man who can not even win election inside his own street, to destroy the votes from Delta Central".

"We are therefore by this release, calling on our most respected leader, President Muhammadu Buhari, to please call his Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr. Ibe Emmanuel Kachikwu to face his work and stop dividing Delta state".

"We are all aware that he jointly sponsored the 2015 Governorship Election of Okowa and so he is a known PDP spy who is not supposed to be in your government in the first instance".

The candidate for Governorship osition in Delta State in any election is supposed to be determined by, we the people but not Dr. Ibe Kachikwu. Or, if we may ask your Excellency sir, did you plant Dr. Ibe Kachikwu as a spy to sell APC seats in Delta State to the PDP?, the group queried.

We the good people of Delta State APC demand a quick denial of his statement or else we shall take it that he is representing you Mr. President to destroy Delta State APC, the group stated.
