2019: DELTANS ASSURES OKOWA, PLEDGE SUPPORT

Ahead of 2019, political permutations has commenced across the political arena with new alliances being formed.

In Delta, a group under the aegis of the  political action committee of the Delta For Continuity, DFC are set to mobilize Nigerians,
particularly Deltans to rally round the Governor of the state, Senator Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa for re-election with about 200,000 persons already deployed to actualize this.

Mr. Henry Ebireri, Convener of Deltans for Continuity, in a press statement issued in Asaba Thursday, said thousands of Nigerians will be at the rally in Sapele.

According to Ebireri, the group will use the rally to urge Deltans, home and abroad, to stand up and give Okowa the authority to continue to develop the state.

"Okowa’s passion, energy and effective leadership make him the right person to keep the job going", the statement said.

"A large array of local, national and international leaders will be present at the rally" the statement added.
