MULTIPLE BOMB BLAST ROCKS UNIMAID

Just when Nigerians were beginning to heave a sigh of relief that relative peace is gradually returning to Maiduguri, Borno state, three suicide bombers were killed when they attempted to infiltrate the Department of Works of University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) in Borno State.


Reports state that the incident occurred at 1:10am today, Saturday, May 13, 2017, has sent fears into the minds of students and government.

According to the reports, a security guard at the university was also killed from the explosions.

Meanwhile, the corpses of the suicide bombers and the security guard have been evacuated by rescuers from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and Borno State Emergency Management Agency (BOSEMA).

A report by PRNigeria said that the university authorities and security agencies would provide more updates on the attack.
