BREAKING: OVER 20 PERSONS KIDNAPPED ALONG KADUNA -ABUJA EXPRESSWAY

No fewer than 20 persons comprising of both men and women, have been reported kidnapped Wednesday 7th June along the now notorious Kaduna-Abuja Expressway.

The incident occurred between Sabon Akilibu and Tsohon Akilibu villages along the Kaduna-Abuja Expressway.

According to one of the eyewitnesses; a commercial driver, who miraculously escaped, the kidnappers who were armed with sophisticated weapons, "had a field day on the road stopping vehicles indiscriminately, until they gathered over twenty  people before they walked them into the nearby bush like a flock of sheep without any resistance from security agents".                                                                                     Speaking with NAIJ NEWS ALERT Comrade Danjuma Bello Sarki, President of the Kaduna Youth Patriotic Front, disclosed that "amongst those reportedly are my friend and brother Kazah Bulus (Kazzy), my Comrades El-hajj Idrees Goga, Simon Terna and Al-Amin".
                                                                          "It is so sad and scary the way the Abuja-Kaduna road which is the major gate way to Abuja from the North West states of Nigeria have become a den of Kidnappers".

"Nigerians plying that road have become so helpless and at the mercy of God", says Comrade Danjuma.
                                                                          The KYPF leader enjoined Nigerians to "please, put them, Kaduna State and Nigeria in prayers for God to help us put an end to this avoidable menace".

As at the time of filing this reort, there has been no news about them yet.

This incident is one too many. Statistics show that more than 40 people have been reported kidnapped within a span of two weeks, along that route.

It is becoming worrisome that the kidnappers operating this route are becoming emboldened day by day.
