"Nigeria Will Rise Out of its Present Condition", Atiku Tells Prophets of Doom

Nigeria's former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, a leading figure in the country's political space says that contrary to prophets of doom and permutations, Nigeria will rise out of its present condition.
Alhaji Atiku, a strong contender for Nigeria's Presidency in the 2019 elections made this known on Saturday in Kaduna during the the inauguration ceremony of the Kaduna state chapter of the Atiku Care Foundation, noting that Nigeria shall rise out of its present condition and be a leading light not for only Africa, but the entire black race.
In a statement signed by the foundation’s Director Publicity, Jacob Onjewu Dickson, the Wazirin Adamawa who was represented at the ceremony by his son, Abba Atiku Abubakar, gave this assertion while giving his remarks as the Special Guest of Honour.
The event which was the inauguration ceremony of the Kaduna State executives of the Atiku Care Foundation, was held at the historic Arewa House, Kaduna.
According to the Wazirin Adamawa, "the agitations and counter agitations are expected in a democratic setting and instead of leading to the breakup of the country, would only consolidate on the country’s democratic setting as well as bring about mutual respect to the various heterogeneous nationalities that make up the Nigerian people".
“We have not found ourselves here by error. We were destined for greatness even before the white men first set their feet on our soil. Their coming here was to only open us up to better ideas which will in no time position us to not only be giants of Africa, but a leading light to the entire civilised world", he said.
Atiku Abubakar encouraged Nigerians to remain focused and resilient towards building the nation of their dreams.
He commended the founders of the Atiku Care Foundation for their efforts at bringing succour to several people in communities across the nation, while predicting that the foundation in the long run will leave lasting legacies that would bring honour to the descendants of the founders.
Earlier in his remarks, founder and National Chairman of the Atiku Care Foundation, Ambassador Aliyu bin Abbas said that the Foundation was conceived bearing in mind, the genuine love that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has for the masses.
"Within the period of its existence, several humanitarian gestures have been carried out in line with the grand patron’s aspirations in wiping away tears from the faces of several vulnerable members of the Nigerian society scattered across the 36 states of the country and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja, Ambassador Aliyu Abbas explained.
