Sambo, Hyet Hail Gbenga Daniel, Describe Him As Serious Candidate

Chief Hassan Hyet PDP Kaduna state 

The Chairman of the Kaduna state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Felix Hassan Hyet has described Otunba Gbenga Daniel, an aspirant for the position of the National Chairman of the party as the most qualified of all the aspirants to clinch the job.



Hyet stated this while speaking while receiving Gbenga Daniel and his campaign train who is on his nationwide tour, in his office in Kaduna, the PDP state on Wednesday.

The chairmanship aspirant reiterated before delegates and party faithful, the need for the delegates to elect the best hands to preside over the affairs of the party towards winning the 2019 general elections.

The former Ogun state governor decried the abrupt impunity that had engulfed the party with a promise to inculcate a more inclusive and people-oriented system.

"You are not a visitor here. By right, you are an elder statesman in Kaduna State", Hyet responded.

"I call your visit a formality. You have presented your message in a simple but penetrating way and I cherish the way you have conducted your campaign", Hyet stated.

"Only a leader of substance and focus will be able to navigate through the entire 36 states without attacking other aspirants".

"Your message rings deep down in us. Whether Southwest is qualified or not, we know Gbenga Daniel is most qualified".

"We will plead with our other brothers so that we can truly return power to the people", the state PDP boss stressed.

As part of his visit to the state, the National chairman hopeful also paid a visit to former Vice President, Architect Namadi Sambo in his residence in Kaduna.

Arc. Sambo enjoined party chieftains across the country to ensure that the PDP National Convention is free and fair.

While appealing to aspirants to positions on thr platform of the party, the former VP described Otunba Daniel as his professional and political colleague, stating that, the only way the party could become strong is for democracy to work at all levels.

The former Number Two citizen thanked Gbenga Daniel for his efforts in ensuring the party returns to the right part and commended him for the seriousness he had added to the race.

"You have embarked on a serious endeavour and I know you are up to the task".

"You have managed your state (Ogun) creditably and I wish you well", Sambo prayed.
