APC CROSS RIVERS GOES UP FOR SALE; NATIONAL CHAIRMAN IN #60M SCANDAL STAKEHOLDERS CRY OUT
A decampee Senator (name withheld) has revealed that the expected exercise to fill the position of State Chairman of APC in Cross River will never hold.
According to our source, a whopping sum of sixty million was paid to the National Chairman of the party to help in perfecting the fraudulent plan.
In his words:
"The National Chairman called the Lawyer, Barrister Osim, to withdraw his suit filed in Court with a promise that the election for Chairman for State Party Chairman will never take place".
"The NDDC Boss who just came from the PDP to the APC wants to pocket the party at the state level, and this development is not favourable for the real APC members in Cross River State".
However, further research on the the story by an independent observer revealed that the National Chairman who approved November 9th 2017 as the date for the all congress the state refused to honor the agreed date after meeting with Senator Ndoma Egba and the sum of N60 million Naira exchanged hands.
This development is to enable Senator Ndoma Egba pocket the party in Cross River State.
Again another date, 28th November 2017 was fixed by the same National Chairman. INEC was fully informed and on that date came to witness the Congress. However, during the said congress, it was observed that the National Chairman called stakeholders to his house for a meeting to come up with a fallacious line clamouring for a consensus candidate.
This attempt failed thus he (the National Chairman) promised to fix a new date within 48 hours. It is now over two weeks running yet the Chairman is yet to fix a new date as promised.
What is wrong with the leadership sense of the APC chairman?
He want to sell CRS APC?
Is the state even ripe for APC take over? The answer is NO!
Chief Odigie Oyegun is not novice to such controversy as he was accused of collecting the sum N50m bribe from Senator Andy Ubah of Anambra State to aid his emergence as the consensus governorship candidate. The plans that was however scuttled by public outcry.
Nigerians must rise up and speak against the confused style adopted by the APC spearheaded by it's National Chairman.
Interested APC members MUST rise up and fight this ugly trend attempting to destroy our nascent democracy.
