IGHOYOTA AMORI DECLARES SENATORIAL INTEREST AMIDST ENDORSEMENT FROM THOUSANDS OF PARTY FAITHFUL AND SUPPORTERS

Prominent chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and one-time Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Political Matters, Olorogun Ighoyota Amori, has declared his intentions to seek election into the Upper Chambers of the National Assembly in the forth-coming elections to represent Delta Central Senatorial District.



Ighoyota Amori, a highly respected politician of repute has promised his people by saying; "If I win, I shall raise Urhobo nation to an enviable proportion at the National Assembly".

Chief Amori, while addressing a mammoth crowd of party faithful and supporters in his country home in Mosogar, made the declaration saying; "Give me your votes and I will attract development and substantial dividends of democracy to Delta Central and the state".

The declaration followed on the heels of the visit of hundreds of people from Orogun, in Ughelli North LGA of the state, led by Chief Andy Osawota and Hon. Friday Akpoyibo, to the Mosogar country home of Amori.

The duo of Chief Osawota and Hon. Akpoyibo, had few weeks ago decamped from the All Progressives Congress, APC, to the PDP.

"Chief Amori is a square peg in a square hole, a symbol of good luck and an embodiment of humble representation for the people of Delta Central”, they stated.

The Delta state Commissioner for Primary Education, Prof Patrick Muoboghare earlier on, had said that, "the people of Ughelli North LGA have agreed to support Chief Amori more than they did in 2015".

Amori, according to political analysts in the state, is politically grounded to attract positive development to his good people of Delta Central Senatorial District and the state in general and are certain of quality representation in the Hallowed Chambers of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
