NUMANA KILLING: KADUNA PDP CHAIRMAN CONDEMNS KILLINGS, CONDOLES FAMILY OF SLAIN TRADITIONAL RULER

The insecurity situation in parts of Kaduna  state is becoming worrisome by the day with the most recent; the killing of a traditional ruler in Numana Chiefdom in Sanga Local Government Council Area of the state.



Described as outrageous and capable of disrupting the peace of the state, many citizens including the Kaduna state government have condemned the killing with the state government promising to fish out the perpetrators and bring them to book.

Joining the condemnation, the Kaduna State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Hon. Felix Hassan Hyat and the entire EXCO, have condoled with the people of Numana Chiefdom and the entire state for the death of the Chief of Numana Chiefdom and his wife, who were murdered in cold blood by unknown gun men.

A statement signed by Abraham Catoh, Publicity Secretary of the state chapter on behalf of the state Chairman reads;

"We condemn the dastardly act perpetrated by these criminals, and call on the State and Federal Governments to step up their responsibility in protecting the lives and properties of our citizens, so as to curb this criminal activities which have become a reoccurring decimal in our daily lives".

Accordingly, the PDP state chairman prayed for the family and people of Numana to bear the irreparable loss and asked God to grant the soul of the departed, mercy.
