THE NIGER DELTA EX MILITANTS PHASE III SETTLEMENT

In the pursuit of sustainable peace in the Niger Delta including the security of oil installations and pipelines in the oil rich region, one of the regions stallholders and Human Rights Activist , Chief Ochuko Patrick Otoba has expressed his concerns over the Amnesty programmes of the Federal Government.

According to Chief Otoba in an exclusive chat with NAIJ NEWS ALERT, he disclosed that, "the ex militant leaders phase 3 Delta state with other aggrieve Niger Delta ex militants are demanding for Brig. Paul Boroh to be removed from the amnesty office.

Chief Ochuko Otoba, a vocal voice for the oppressed and, an international human rights activist and Urhobo Ambassador for  Cultural advancement in Burkina Faso, "has been on negotiation terms with Gen. Morrocco and 12 other niger delta ex militant leaders in court over refusal of Brig. Gen. Boroh (rtd.) to document  and settle the leaders and their boys since January 2013".

Otoba revealed that alongside stakeholders and the ex militants, have taken the extra mile of seeking peaceful and out of court settlement via several attempts with Boroh that fell on deaf ears.

"Other attempts, via several petitions to different higher authorities to call on Boroh to address this issue; "Boroh Must Go! is now and the phase 3 ex millitants leaders in the person of Gen. Morocco and its undocumented boys should be settled accordingly for total peace to reign in the niger delta".
