2018 DEMOCRACY DAY CELEBRATION IN DELTA STATE
Delta Central Senatorial candidate, Senator Ighoyota Amori has called for continued support for the administration of the Smart Agenda Governor, Senator Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa.
The PDP strategist who has been as the best candidate to pick the ticket of the Senatorial seat, made this known in Asaba, the Delta state capital during the Thanksgiving service to mark the Okowa's 3rd Year Anniversary.
He called on Nigerians to vote out the All Progressives Congress government at the centre in 2019.
Chief Amori who is the frontline contender for the 2019 Delta Central Senatorial seat, stated this when he joined the Chief celebrant, Dr. Arthur Okowa, to celebrate this year's Democracy Day at a colourful ceremony which was held at the event Centre, Asaba.
Also in attendance were the two immediate past governors of the state, Chief James Onanefe Ibori and Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan and many other notable Deltans.
Senator Amori applauded Deltans for their support to the Okowa administration in the past three years, urging them not to relent as their support is key to the realisation of the administration's SMART Agenda.
Governor Okowa he noted, has clearly demonstrated that he is a de-tribalised Deltan that is passionate and committed to developing Delta state.
"The re-election of Governor Okowa in 2019 general elections is pivotal to sustained growth and development of the State", Amori added.
"His emergence as governor in 2015, when the nation was plunged into economic recession was divinely ordained to rescue the State from economic collapse", the leading Delta Central candidate stressed.
"The days of the APC government at the federal level are numbered", Amori stated.
He called on Nigerians to be prepared for he what described as a mission to rescue the nation from total collapse; by voting the PDP back to power.
He congratulated Deltans and Nigerians on this year's Democracy Day celebration and insisted that the PDP for now remains the only viable alternative to liberate the country from the present socio-political and economic quagmire.
