ACF LAUDS BUHARI'S GOVT....Says FG Under Buhari Has Performed Well.

A socio-political group in the North has applauded the Buhari led administration in Nigeria for its achievements in the last three years of its being in office.

The group; the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) in a meeting held in Kaduna, Northwest Nigeria where it has its National secretariat disclosed that President Muhammadu Buhari's government has performed well in the area of improving on the security challenges in the country.

The ACF scored the Buhari's administration high as it relates to the battle against insurgency which resulted in the rescue of abducted children in the region.

In the fight against corruption, the ACF commended the federal government for the successes recorded so far, noting that the challenges and successes that the country has experienced in the last three years, is a process of nation building which it described as natural.

This was part of a statement released by the ACF through its National Publicity Secretary, Muhammad Ibrahim Biu in its assessment of the performance of the federal government in its three years in office.

According to the statement, “the continued degradation of the Boko Haram insurgency, the rescue of over 100 Chibok girls and the 104 Dapchi girls that were kidnapped and held captive as well as the re-habilitation of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) were reassuring measures to restore normalcy and hope”.

“The various military and other security operations in tackling insecurity nationwide, particularly the farmers/herders clashes and bandits attacks in the states of Benue, Nasarawa, Adamawa, Zamfara, Kaduna, Plateau, Taraba and others are practical demonstration by the government of its resolve to overcome these menace”, the ACF scribe said.

According to the ACF scribe, the group further noted that the various agencies battling corruption in Nigeria have lived up to their responsibilities with the arrest and prosecution of suspected public treasury looters, the statement concluded.
