Delta Central 2019: Amori Gets Assurance of Block-Votes

The Senatorial contest in the Delta Central for 2019 is definitely heating up as aspirants have continued their consultations deep into the nooks and crannies of their constituencies to seek for votes.


Front-runner for the ticket on the platform of the PDP, Chief Ighoyota Amori has received reassurances from the scion of the Ibru dynasty; Olorogun Oscar Ibru of Block-Votes from his group.

Ibru, while receiving the delegation to his country home in Agbara-otor, Ughelli North, lamented the battered image of the Urhobo nation at the Senate of the National Assembly, saying also that the All Progressive Congress party, APC has no root in Delta state.

As the 2019 Delta Central Senatorial race thickens, the various scheming has become  swift as the political pendulum consistently swings towards the direction of ace politician and Political Adviser to National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator (Chief) Ighoyota Amori.

The endorsement from a world class business tycoon, groomed and inducted  early in life into global financial hall of fame, Olorogun Oscar Ibru, the Chairman/CEO of Ibru Organization Worldwide and the eldest son of international business mogul, Olorogun Michael Ibru of blessed memory, has further cemented the chances of the political strategist himself.

Ibru while hosting the Amori campaign team, described him as a man of peace and a genuine foremost leader in Urhobo nation who deserves the support and quality assistance from the Ibru dynasty and all genuine political gladiators and their followers in Ughelli North.

He noted that Urhobo people have been disgraced recently at the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria due to misplaced priority on the part of the incumbent senator who abandoned his core legislative duties to entangle himself with ill-conceived Aso villa politics anchored on selfish political interests and uncertainty.

Ibru who is well known for his "no nonsense steam" in board room politics and partisan codification of electioneering victories assured Senator Amori that his political structure in Ughelli North has since adopted him as their consensus senatorial candidate for the 2019 Delta Central race.

"My love for Chief Amori is certainly inestimable. He is such a perfect gentleman, a reliable, tested and trusted Urhobo leader who will never drag our collective image into the odious bottomless pit of dirty politics.

"Today, we are faced with a catalogue of misrepresentation in all ramifications; to the extent that Delta Central has been blacklisted technically and desecrated as a result of the overbearing personal ego and unnecessary overzealousness of the incumbent senator

 "It's very sad and no right thinking Urhobo man or woman, boy or girl should applaud this pitiable kind of legislative rascality and complicated hooliganism so far exhibited buy the APC Senator.

"Senator Amori is the right man for the job and we in Ughelli North shall see to it that the needful is done at the appropriate time to ensure that Amori proceeds to the red chambers to repair, restore and sustain the good image of Urhobo Nation that has been brutally strangulated and demonized in the altar of stomach infrastructure politics.

"I want to state here and now that all delegates under my leadership shall vote for Amori at the party primaries.  No vote from here shall be missing.

"Thank God that I have with me; Hon Solomon Awhinawhi, Hon Samuel Marierie, Hon Eric Oharisi, Hon Tete Adode and other political tacticians in Ughelli North, here present.

In his response, Senator Amori thanked Ibru and assured him of quality representation like never before.

He described Olorogun Oscar Ibru as an illustrious son of Urhobo Nation who carefully and responsibly adhered to the dictates of his late father, adding that with political gladiators like him in Delta Central, his landslide slide victory at the poll shall be a walk over.

He assured that his unfortunate ordeal in 2015 is gone and left in the past, and shall never repeat itself in his political career.

Amori sadly reflected on how a 10 minutes candle light judgment in Court of Appeal brought shame and disgrace to Delta Central in the red chambers; as a result of gross misconduct of the incumbent holder of that office leading to his suspension and other unfortunate scenarios.

"A senator occupies that senatorial  seat in trust for Urhobo Nation but some persons felt that they can never be questioned by our people and in the process crashed the enviable reputation of Delta central at the red chambers in excahnge for only God knows!

"When I get to the Senate in 2019, I shall work very hard to restore Urhobo Nation's battered image and take a step further to onbehalf of the good people of Delta central apologise to other distinguished senators because we are not known to be betrayals and deviants," Amori added.
