PDP REMAINS BEST MODEL FOR DEMOCRACY IN AFRICA: "You Need to Undergo A One Day Crash Course On How To Conduct Primaries"..... ONUESOKE to APC

Notable chieftains of the People's Democratic Party, PDP have continued applaud the outcome of the party's primaries in Ekiti state, describing it as another indication of what to expect from the rebranded PDP ahead of the general elections in 2019.



Prominent PDP stalwart and former governorship aspirant in Delta state, Chief Sunny Onuesoke has joined in applauding the outcome of the Ekiti Gubernatorial Primaries, describing it as the best ever, since the return of democracy in 1999.

Onuesoke also hailed the sterling performance of the "Smart Agenda" Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa for conducting what can only be described as the best party primaries in the country.

Chief Onuesoke in a news chat with press men earlier on today in Asaba, said "the outcome of the PDP Guber primaries in Ekiti state only goes to show that the rebranded, refocused and redefined PDP remains the best model for democratic advancement in Africa.

"The outcome of the Governorship Primaries in Ekiti State by our great party; the PDP, is a pointer to the fact that PDP remains the best model for democratic advancement in our country and africa as a whole".

'We have shown time without number what it means to practice true democracy and the just concluded PDP Ekiti Guber primaries is a further prove of that fact", the PDP stalwart stated.

"Once again, the ever reliable and workaholic governor has proven himself to be a great national asset for our party by conducting the best PDP primaries in Ekiti state; a further indication of his dynamic, innovative and transparent qualities which he has shown over the past three years as Governor of Delta state".

"Let me urge the All Progressives Congress (APC) to be humble enough to undergo a one day crash course on how to conduct a free, fair and credible primaries under the tutelage of PDP, so as to enable them conduct their rescheduled primaries election on Friday to avoid another disruption", he added.

He also called on all PDP stakeholders in Ekiti state, especially Prof. Kolapo Olusola-Eleka and Mr. Dayo Adeyeye to forge a common front now that the primaries are over.

Onuesoke urged them to work together to ensure a landslide victory for the party in the July 14th governorship election in the state.
